Mechanic Deck

Key Requirements:

• 1. Mandatory: Must hold certifications from a Malta-recognized country (e.g., Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, UK, India, Philippines, etc.).
• 2. Education: Mechanical Engineer / General Technical Education (MTS Level).
• 3. Proven experience with offshore construction equipment (pipe handling, tensioners, A&R, and ROV equipment).
• 4. Expertise in deck equipment: Winches, cranes, and compressed air systems.
• 5. Proficiency in hydraulics, lathe/milling machines, and welding.
• 6. Valid STCW training certificates, Seaman’s Book, and Passport.

Ideal Profile:

• 1. Experienced in independent watchkeeping during pipe-lay or heavy lift operations.

• 2. Results-oriented with strong team-working skills.

• 3. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
